Te Aroha Noa has tea and coffee facilities in their very welcoming community space, and sometimes have fresh fruit and vegetables available for anyone in the community to take away with them. As part of their school holiday program they may occassionally run cooking classes. The preschool has it's own raised vegetable gardens.
Te Aroha Noa is a holistic community service, that incorporates a social work service, health hub (midwifery, paediatrican, eczema, asthma, nutrition, and dental services), various educational programmes, a preschool, in-home educational programmes for parents and children (Hippy), an alternative youth education program from 13-17 year olds, and a Teen Pregnancy Unit. They also run a school holiday programme for children, which costs $60 for 5 days, and runs from 8.30am - 3pm. The holiday programme is open to primary and intermdediate school children.
