Transition Feilding are a group of community-minded people who are interested in permaculture and the 'hands-on' approach to community gardens. Their garden is a 'sharing garden', a place where people can 'come together to share ideas and learn from each other, as well as share the good food that is grown.' The purpose of the garden is to 'give people the skills and knowledge that will empower them to grow more of their own healthy food in the spaces around their homes and share it with others.' There is a sharing tables outside the garden, where people can leave their own excess produce for others.
Transition Feilding is a regular stall-holder at the monthly ATC Community Market, held in Feilding on the first Saturday of every month.
The garden is for everyone.
